Keep me away from it. It’ll be even more interesting to see this level of graphical detail fused together with virtual reality. How far off are we from AAA releases looking this mind-blowing? It’s no longer a question of if this can happen, but rather, when. Youtube user CryZENx definitely has a channel worth keeping up with if you want to see a lot of cool Unreal Engine 4 showcases, like the Star Fox-themed kite demo right above. Check out the video at top of the page to have your breath taken. And while half of me is astounded, amused, and totally excited by what this level of detail could mean for the future of video games, the other half of me is flat out terrified. I feel as if the lines between the virtual world and reality have been viciously crossed with this tech demo, which recently surfaced on the web. Okay Unreal Engine 4, this is getting out of hand.
